Description:

Ruqyah in Islam is a sacred practice that involves the recitation of verses from the Qur'an, seeking refuge in Allah, and making supplications. It is considered a powerful means of treating illnesses and addressing other problems.

There are specific conditions that need to be met for Ruqyah Ash Shar'eeyah:

<ol>
 <li>The recitation must be from the speech of Allah, including His names and attributes, or from the words of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).</li>
 <li>The recitation should be in Arabic, or if it is done in another language, it must convey the same meaning as the original Arabic verses.</li>
 <li>It is essential to have faith that the true healing power lies with Allah, and that Ruqyah itself cannot bring about a cure independently.</li>
 <li>Ruqyah should not be performed while in a state of major impurity (junub), or in locations where worship is not permissible, such as graveyards or bathrooms.</li>
</ol>
