Ayat Ruqya 1.6

Ruqyah in Islam is a sacred practice that involves the recitation of verses from the Qur'an, seeking refuge in Allah, and making supplications. It is considered a powerful means of treating illnesses and addressing other problems.

There are specific conditions that need to be met for Ruqyah Ash Shar'eeyah:

1. The recitation must be from the speech of Allah, including His names and attributes, or from the words of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
2. The recitation should be in Arabic, or if it is done in another language, it must convey the same meaning as the original Arabic verses.
3. It is essential to have faith that the true healing power lies with Allah, and that Ruqyah itself cannot bring about a cure independently.
4. Ruqyah should not be performed while in a state of major impurity (junub), or in locations where worship is not permissible, such as graveyards or bathrooms.
